Report reaching us today Tuesday 19 August says that a west African woman was rushed to the hospital after she showed symptoms of the Ebola viral disease at a job centre in Germany.
It has also been reported that as many as 600 people staff and visitors have been stopped from leaving the employment office in Berlin for hours as parts of the street was also sealed off.
The woman was said to have fainted and she later said she was from Nigeria and she had come in contact with people infected with Ebola back in her home.
Several people who have been with the woman inside the office building have also been taking to the hospital for testing.
Berlin fire department spokesman Rolf Erbe said that because the patient came from 'an area affected by a highly contagious disease, we took these precautions.'
Mean while the UN World Health Organization (WHO) said On Tuesday that the Ebola virus had killed 84 people in just three days, bringing the global death toll to 1,229, while confirmed, probable and suspect infections rose to 2,240.
