EBOLA!!! FMOH CONFIRM 1 NEW CASE IN LAGOS

As at today, the federal ministry of health FMOH has reported 1 new confirmed case of Ebola in Lagos.

This brings the total number of confirmed Ebola cases in Nigeria to 19 (15 in Lagos and 4 in PH).

 All 474 contacts (37 in Lagos and 437 in PH) are being followed up. The FMOH and partners are putting in place intensive measures to prevent the spread of Ebola in Nigeria.

As at Friday morning, the FMOH indicates that the total number of Ebola cases in Nigeria is still 18. Of these, 4 are in Port Harcourt. Nationwide, there are now 9 survivors, 7 deaths, and 2 in isolation under medical care.
There has NOT been any new case in Lagos in the last 7 days up until today.
